Gingerbread House
December 2000
|
All the pieces are folded without cutting or gluing but to assemble the individual pieces I used white glue as the 'icing'. The candy canes, icicles, trees, and hearts are my own models. The peppermint candies are a variation on a Lover's Knot model in Creating Origami. MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Brilliant Origami
|
I really like the 'European' St. Nick feel of this model. For anyone who attempts it - there is an error in the diagramming. A small error but it makes all the difference.

I can't help but think Santa looks like he is going to open his coat and flash someone.

The book this model comes from boasts that the base fold will produce 120 variations. I am thinking they took a little creative license with that claim.

Unit Origami

Unit origami is easier than I thought it would be. I have folded several from that book.

Festive Folding

This is the best ghost model I have found so far. I scanned this model on the flatbed scanner and the effect is quite unusual as opposed to photographing it.
